RHS Spring Show

We are so excited to be taking our lovely bottles to the RHS Spring Show at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern. It’s by far the biggest event we have ever undertaken so we have a real mix of excitement and nerves. It all started when my friend Lisa asked if I fancied going with her to the show. My brain had a better idea ‘how about if we have a stall there and you can see the show every day’ says I.

So we applied, were accepted and only them did we look at the gate numbers and work out how much stock we would need. Luckily, when we started this business, we kept meticulous data on what has sold where and when, and in what volumes, so we had loads of information from which to draw. Numbers were crunched and we had a picture of what we needed to have ready. Making began in earnest.

We’ve been trialling Gooseberry Liqueur with local customers who have really loved it, so we will launch our newly packaged and branded gooseberry flavour in three sizes at the show. That’s exciting enough, never mind all those show gardens we’ll be able to take it in turns to go and see in the quiet periods. I wonder if there’ll be any - quiet periods. Next week will tell!
