Damson Liqueur

While we were in Germany, in the September sunshine, we came across some beautiful, juicy and luscious damsons. We bought them home and made a very small batch of Damson Liqueur and one of Damson Gin.

We bought the liqueur to Haddon Hall this week and it has flown off the stall. It’s a dark, rich, beautiful colour with a deep plummy taste and we’re pretty proud of it.

Sadly it won’t last long but we know to bring loads more next year!
