Haddon Hall Mercatum

We’ve just come to the end of our first week of the fabulous annual Haddon Hall Mercatum. What a week it’s been! Storm Claudia didn’t put folk off but we did feel for our fellow artisans who were selling their gorgeous wares from outside wooden cabins.

We introduced a new Christmas Tipples gift bag this week and everyone loved it. We were making new bags to top up the stock every evening. We’ll vary which winter gin goes in it to make sure we’ve got the stock to meet demand though.

Haddon Hall is an absolutely stunning place to spend our five weeks. We are privileged to be in the Great Hall by the 22ft tree from the estate and the roaring fire. We’re again next to the wonderful Birdsong of Bakewell, Olor and Vintage Models. A truly lovely group of folk to spend November with.

The market is on from Wednesday to Sunday for another four weeks so do come and say hi.
